Spread Love like Wildfire Fundraiser

One of the most unique residents at the Sanctuary, Wildfire is a coydog who arrived early last year. With little to no socialization before coming to us, he was extremely fearful of humans.

With a bit of time, patience, and understanding, we’ve been honoured to witness his confidence slowly grow. While he may never become the bold or outgoing type, we’re happy to provide him with a safe forever home where he can simply be himself.

One of his absolute favourite things? Toys! When he thinks no one is watching, he absolutely lights up, tossing toys around.

Here at the Sanctuary, we almost always have at least one rescued coydog, and they often need something a little different. With that in mind, we’re building a specialized enclosure tailored to their unique needs to suit Wildfire. This new space will include:

• Smaller-gauge fencing for added security
• More man-made enrichment, platforms, and a dug-in den
• A gated intro area for safely meeting new packmates
• Natural features like boulders and varied terrain for lounging and hiding
