Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary has introduced a Bench and Picnic Table Dedication program in which you can donate to place a bronze plaque dedication on an available bench or picnic table. Plaques will remain in place for the duration of your 5-year contract, in which time you have first right to renew your contract or to remove the plaque from its placement.
Benefits
Donating a dedication bench plaque is a wonderful way to honor a loved one in a memorable way. Proceeds of your bench or picnic table dedication plaque will go towards the care of the animals at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary and may be used to assist with funding for new projects that are in alignment with the mission of the organization. Your donation helps maintain the quality of care we provide for the resident wolfdogs through food procurement, enrichment item building, enclosure maintenance, veterinary care and more.
Cost of Donation

Please note that fees for the dedication program go towards the production, installation, and maintenance of the plaque and bench/table, with remaining funds being allocated to the care of the wolfdogs at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary.Tax receipts will be issued for your donation of a dedication bench or picnic table.
Length of Time
Your dedication plaque will remain on the bench or picnic table for a total of 5 years. Renewals are available for existing dedications in which another 5 years will be added to the length of the placement. Please note that renewals must be applied for up to 6 months before the expiry of your existing plaque contract. Additionally, if you would like to instead donate a Lifetime Dedication, we can keep plaques in place for the lifespan of the plaque itself (with regular maintenance) or the structure in which it is placed.
Plaque Specs
Plaques will be 3.5” x 10” bronze molds that can hold the name of your dedication one the first line, the date on the second, and up to 2 lines of a personalized message. Messages will be under review before approved to ensure no offensive language or statements are made.
Process
If you are interested in donating a dedication bench or plaque, please fill out the application located on our website or below. All submissions will be reviewed within a 2-week timeline from your submission date, in which we will follow up with you regarding the status of approval for your donation. Please note that Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary has the right to refuse applications based on the discretion of staff, sanctuary capacity and availability of benches and picnic tables.
