The largest rescue mission the Sanctuary’s team has undertaken

This campaign was created in response to providing our new 13 rescued animals with a safe and permanent space to call home.

Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary's team responded to these animal's call for help and after 3,514 kilometers traveled, $1,852.60 in travel costs, and $8,603.83 in veterinary costs, we were able to rescue these 13 animals from this emergency situation.

Being the largest rescue mission the Sanctuary's team has undertaking at once, there is an unprecedented and unpredicted need to build three enclosures by spring 2021. The cost of building one of our enclosures can be very significant due to the specialized nature of our spaces and the need for professional services. The overall cost to build one of the enclosures that you see here at the Sanctuary can easily cost upwards of $50,000.

Please take a moment to view this video that highlights the From Alone to Home: Wolfdog Rescue Campaign as well as the Sanctuary, its animals and the team that made it all possible.
