Blaire

Guest Services Supervisor

Blaire grew up on a hobby farm in Salmon Arm, BC. Her love for all those with fur, feathers and fins has been a part of her journey since day one! Her passion to help animals started young volunteering at the local SPCA cleaning and taking the dogs out for walks. From childhood to adulthood Blaire has had many furry family members from goats, cats, bunnies, rats and of course many dogs including one low content wolfdog her brother raised. She learnt that they all have their own unique personalities and they all deserve love and kindness. Blaire falls in love with every animal she sees no matter how big or small. Over the years her passion to help animals never stopped but her journey took her onto entrepreneurship in Calgary. Learning a lot about work life balance and the fact that success in business doesn't always mean happiness. Life led her out of Calgary and to a Farm four minutes down the road from the Sanctuary. Life brought her back to her roots of a hobby farming now with her Husband, two rescue dogs, Grizzly, Leia, chickens, and Rosie the duck. She's loving life working at the Sanctuary and so happy to be a part of a team filled with like-minded animal lovers. Come stop by her "enclosure" at the front desk where you will find her creating excellent client experiences for everyone who stops in for a visit!
